Parisian shopfronts

For this project, my goal was to create assets optimized for real-time engines while focusing on storytelling and detail. I used Blender 3D for modeling and Substance Painter for texturing.

To ensure the scene felt authentic and full of personality, I spent time researching real-world references using Google Street View. This helped me discover subtle but impactful details like gas and water access panels, wall lamps, ventilation grilles, house numbers, and unique shop signs. These small elements add depth and character, making the environment feel more believable and lived-in.

Creating efficient UV layouts and maintaining clean geometry were priorities to optimize the assets for real-time performance. I wanted to strike a balance between technical precision and artistic storytelling.

Let me know what you think! Feedback is always welcome.
